    Members Pets

My girlfriend and I have 3 cats. All of them were stray cats. The black tuxedo cat was the first to arrive. He is a great hunter and will often bring gifts into the house for us. He also loves to cuddle and sleeps with us. His name is F@#%stick. The next one to show up here was an orange...

    '08 ZX-14 - New pics & sound

I too, have to confess, I've been lusting over the ZX-14 :dribble: . Not a big fan of the George Foreman style side covers though. A quick Google search found this. https://www.tobefast.com/mccoy-zx14-side-pa...pr-2195937.html I know there was a link to other vendors of similar products on a...

    Wild Bill Install Questions

ChrisW, I had to go to the garage to look at my Wild Bill setup. Each bracket should have 3 holes. There were 6 spacers and 6 longer allen head bolts with the kit. The spacers look like a 1/2 inch long piece of "pipe". The spacers go between the engine cases and the back side of the brackets...

    Area Attractions (or distractions)

I usually try to check out this web site before a road trip... https://www.roadsideamerica.com/ You can search La Crosse, WI or wade through the 423 results of a search of WI. There is also https://www.wisconsinmotorcycling.com . There are maps on the web site and a nice forum. Also...

Rain liners - Are you an innie or outie?

I'll put in my .02 cents here. I have many different brands and styles of riding gear. Some came with zip-in rain liners, some of the gear is waterproof and some came with no rain protection. I also have a few sets of outer, over the gear type rain suits. I very much prefer the over the gear...

    OK Midwesterners--Who Rode Today

If I don't get a ride in today, I got my last rides on Tuesday and Wednesday when I rode to work. 21 and 23 degrees. I'm lucky because it's only an 8 mile ride to work. I love hearing " :dribble: you're crazy :dribble: " comments from co-workers. It's been cold, but so far just a dusting of...

    Location of 2009 CFO

I still lean towards the Black Hills area. There's rocks, rivers, canyons, great state and national parks, tons of wildlife... Northern MN is ok, speed limits are lower and LEO and DEER presence is high. SW WI is nice, the roads are twisty, but there's not much to see but fields and hills. The...

    A Radar Operator's Primer

((It doesn't, unless it's transmitting. So when the operator is tooling along watching for speeders, making his visual estimates, but not transmitting; there won't be a speed displayed in the patrol speed window. When he spots a speeder and makes his visual estimate, he presses the transmit...

Discount prices at Umotors no more

opt8low, Thank you for making things clear. When it's time for a parts order I'll try MONDAK. Erik.

Discount prices at Umotors no more

Please bear with me here... I'm a little confused. Umotors is in Fargo ND/Fergus Falls MN, Mike Kolstad, 218-998-2200. This I understand. Yet the post above me quotes Gary McCoy at MONDAKmotorsports. A quick web search shows Mondak to be in Sidney Montana. The web site in MT. has the same 866...

    Hotwired ignition, worked, no worked

Is it possable that one of the wires is "hot" all the time and the other is not. If that's the case, and you used a toggle switch that had screws and lugs on the bottom, could the switch have touched other metal to ground the hot wire and blow the fuse??? Erik.

A Thank You note to a LEO

No need to worry. Believe it or not, there are supervisors that know there's more to police work than the number of tickets a person writes. Erik.
