My '06 with GP Suspension front and rear never drug highway pegs. Bike was properly suspended for 2up riding fully loaded. Now the center stand is a different story. If there was a hard bump in the middle of a turn it would hit all the time. Not upsetting the bike...

a low battery will cause all sorts of codes to trigger that make no sense. The compression number make me wonder if the tech knows how to do one correctly. I would install a new battery and reset the code and see if everything clears up. If it still runs badly, then do another compression...

I use a map gas torch to warm the area around the middle bushing. You can get a good amount of heat in the fork leg in about 30 seconds. They usually come out with a couple of pulls on the inner tube.
