Way to go Wendy! And let's also send applause to TripperMike for a solid, 10,000+ mile IBR finish.

I wonder if there's a group picture or some other time-specific bonus in the New Orleans area...

If'n it looked they were gonna pass through somewhere where I thought I could 'encourage' (scar for life?) them, I would. So far I've only seen two bonuses in Ohio - a receipt from Dayton, and serpent mound.

Well, since we haven't seen this yet this year, I think it's time for this video to come back out.

Man-O-man. 47 hours to make a Google maps-calculated 49 hour ride. Hopefully it's just SPOTwalla delay and they're already on the way, otherwise it ain't looking good at all to get in for a finish.

I know from crossing into Canada, and coming back, that you have to be 'aware' of how you word your answers - especially "What is the purpose of your visit?" Outta curiosity, what would a 'typical' answer for this question be for an IBR participant crossing into Canada?

Quoted for posterity. One thing I'm quite curious aboot is the tracker that's now on I-94 and is / has been shagging it eastbound. Gotta wonder what the strategy is for him / her / them compared to the rest of the pack(s).

I saw that the Going to the Sun Road just opened, so if Logan Pass is a bonus, it's now do-able.

Thanks, Iggy. That opens up a ton of questions I have aboot options and strategy that I'm just gonna sit back and watch as the participants answer.

Since the riders have the option of skipping CP2, were all of the bonuses for Leg 2 and Leg 3 included in their rally packs?

I'm more concerned about the riders in central Kansas and the ones around Mobile, AL. Looks like those groups are getting hit with some serious weather.

Yeah, Mt. Mitchell was definitely one of the bonus locations (I've been causing havoc with Google Maps) as was Chimney Rock.

    EOM 2019 Discussion

Since we're coming into the warmer months, I thought this would be a good time to put out a reminder. In honor and memory of Don Stanley, AKA beemerdons, bring a Hawaiian shirt for the banquet on Saturday night. If you do not own a Hawaiian shirt, now is the time to start looking. Hell - the...

    Tech Day XVIII

Sooze and I are home safe. It was a much more pleasant ride home than it was going up, but I'm glad I had my heated jacket and gloves with me - it was just chilly enough to warrant using 'em. Thanks to Ray and Bill for changing the throttle cables - MUCH more betterer. Thanks to TimDOG for...
