As far as mirrors: I can see my elbows in 1/2 of the mirror. I can pull it in for a better look or I can slide an elbow out if followed by some *** with those damn bright blue headlights. Works for me. I can see a benefit with better mirrors but to me it is not a big deal..... Yet.

Ran across a revolutionary helmet. Heads up display and 180 degree rear view camera. Anyone have one of these or checked them out yet? There is potential in this. I gotta try one.

My FJR is fine. I also realized after thinking about it that the old school technology has been replaced long ago.

Absolutely beautiful. But then again, it's an FJR so that is expected. I love the lighting. I could do without the LED tail light as I don't care for the "Euro" look. Then again I don't ever see the rear while riding. Slipper?... Well maybe. I kinda like my engine braking. 5 speed works for me...

This will be a damn interesting season. Except for Indy being dropped from the schedule. Anyone can jump on a bike, pin her ears back and go fast in a straight. Personally, I like watching Yamaha make it up in the corners. The talented riders of MotoGp make it worth watching. Different riding...

Brand new Michelins, Not raining too hard but steady, don't ride below 40 degrees. Had to get home. FJR was rock steady the whole time. AND, I stayed dry except for tips of the boots and 2 outside fingers on each hand. Oh yeah, and about a 3 inch strip of my pants that were slapping in the wind...

One day I will probably run across a few of you guys and find myself 1000 miles from home at the end of the day. And then realize I gotta get back. Then I will know the real meaning of fun.

Of course it is cool to ride an FJR in the rain. I recently put in 25 miles in the rain. At 42 degrees. At 80 mph. It was actually safer in the left lane. Passing trucks and water spray sucks. BTW, in the 40's today and cloudy. Canadians passing through maybe?

The 1500 mile+ trips are unreal. I can see 1000 in 24 hrs. fairly easy. I guess if a person worked up to it, no big deal. The FJR does make it easy to go from point A to point B in a short amount of time. A fine machine that does it so easy. Laughing at the Tip 2. Nothing against anyone that's...
