The oft quoted size for FJR is 11.3mm mounting hole. Hoping for confirmation that an automotive 11.5mm stem will work. -Steve

I have searched and been unable to find a source for a black straight metal valve stem. (that is in stock) Many sources for offset stems. Any suggestions appreciated. Thx -Steve

Ask your local dealer(s) if there is a factory demo day coming up. Maybe the timing will work out for you. There are two OEM top cases, 37 & 50 lt. The smaller fits the OEM rack. The larger requires additional mounting bits and (minor) cutting of some tupperware. I believe another forum member...

As already noted, the dealer installs the front tire/wheel. Check everything related, pinch bolts, axle nut, caliper bolts, etc? -Steve

Just another gel opinion. The gel insert will pick up heat from both the engine and the sun and hold it. On a ride with say 22-25C temps, your privates will be med rare by the end of the day. The seat will still be warm 2 or 3 hours after you park for the night. Just my 2¢. -Steve

An ignorant thought - The owners manual warning may have come from Legal. Yamaha may have not bothered to emissions certify E15 fuel. -Steve
