I am pretty sure that the big torx bolt is a T-50. I am pretty sure the large standard sizes go T40, T45, T50, T60.

How many FJRs do you see on an average day?

Normally, I see one - mine. Last year went I bought mine, my dealer in Irving, TX had four: two new '14A's, one one the floor and one in back, a slightly used '13 (the one I bought), and a '12 he said he used for a demo.

    '06 - '12 Bin O Facts (Generation II)

The FSM says engine oil drain plug specs for tightening is 31 lb.-ft. That is too tight. There is a good possibility of stripping the threads. Specs for final drive oil drain plug is 17 b.-ft. They are the same size bolts. If you are going to use a torque wrench, I suggest 17 lb.-ft. for the...

They sure do. My '13 wasn't left over. It was barely used (660 miles).

Picked up a New '13 today

The first three months I had mine, I was in a pretty violent thunderstorm, then a week later, I hit hail. Then a couple of days later, if I had'nt laid up in a motel, I would have hit a highway washout flood/rainstorm. Still. it was a pretty good trip.

    Battery Access 2013/Gen III

Dan, later 2013's have the improved 2014 right hand cover. You can either cut off the extra tabs of buy a '14 cover. I found that a few minutes with a dremel tool was cheaper than spending $100 for a '14 cover. Southern Cruizer, if you are going to keep those tiny Phillips-looking screws, use...

Same, except what is winter storage? I also have a free Whitehorse pad - came free with something that I ordered. I also have had the centerstand on my old Kawasaki sink into soft pavement. Liked to never get it unstuck.

    Iridium plugs for genIII FJR

Thanks, Fred. You answered my question. I am an FJR noob. I didn't consider any difference in the ignition system.

    Iridium plugs for genIII FJR

I would have thought the iridium plugs would have worked in a 2013 FJR. I checked the parts drawings and the pistons for 2012 and 2013 are the same part. The heads, however, are apparently slightly different according to the part numbers. Can anyone clarify?

    Pricing suggestions

Sounds more than fair. I recently paid $12.7K for a barely used (660 miles) '13 from a dealer in Texas.
