Just a quick note about Skooter. He managed to loose his right glove somewhere on the road last night. I'm heading to his house in a bit to grab his old pair of gloves. When I got off the phone with is roomate his comment to me was "Good luck finding it! He's got a lot of **** piled up!!"...

Well quick little update on Skooter. This morning he made it on and off of Martha's Vineyard without alerting the Secret Service. He said he was ahead of schedule and would be seeing if there were some extra bonii he could grab with is new found free time.

Damn, looks like alot of fun. Let me see if I can sneak some extra cash together and some time off. If I can, I can help with the rides. Don't care to lead bike rides, but Ive done the roads and can certainly run sweep.

Hey Jerry I never got around to installing my stock stator back into the FJR. If you want, I can install it on my spare stator cover and bring it with me to Santa Ana as a worst case senerio for you if you like. Just let me know as I was hoping to get it installed soon.

I like your idea of most efficient FJR rider, but I'm still riding the edge on if I'll make it or not so I don't want to commit to a lottery.

Scott Wright and a friend of his that I don't think is on the forum have also volunteered to assist FJR riders. They were both 90% sure they could help, they just had to both check with their respective wives. They were suppose to get back with me sometime this week with a definite yes or no.

Hrmm... not sure how I can measure the thickness clearance. If you want, I can probably take some pics of everything, post them to either this thread or yours, then you can "mark up" the photos and let me know what you want me to measure from there. I'll leave the case popped for a day or two...
