SG, this was my initial feeling as well but my first long ride on the exalto was a rainy one. I found my confidence in the wet to be much higher with the ct (at 31-32psi) and loaded for bear. My guess is that the tire evacuates/displaces water more effectively. Totally agree on the effort...

Still working on the rack with my other back rim but those that remain are old and hard as rocks with few miles left. I can't believe it either, DP, economics win this year. Using OC's original brake stay too although I've removed a bunch of metal by "drill press machining".
