    Fuel Guage Problem

    I haven't heard of this before but you could certainly lift the tank & reseat the wire easy enough. That would be the only thing relating to the gauge that was touched . . .

    BITE THE WEENIE !!!!

    Definetly missed an excellent turnout ! I met a few new to me people & several that I know there & counted at least a dozen FJRs. It was nice kickin' tires & talking to all. I stayed in Redondo Beach overnight & visited some relatives, Pier, & home I was raised in before heading back to Arizona.

    If you try & run the liner without the bike running it will drain the battery extremely fast, not many minutes. I'd just start it & rev the motor enough to keep the voltage in the charging range. I us a permanently mounted DATEL voltmeter to monitor battery condition so I won't be left with a...

    It draws a lot of power and you should be running it off the battery. Is it a heattroller or Warm N Safe product ? Doesn't sound like it . . . .

    There is certainly rumors about possible deaths. At least one has died on an '06 for no aparent reason . . . If you know how to quickly bypass the problem (and your not killed when it happens), you can be on the road fairly quick. BE PREPARED , a wire nut or two in your tools can make it easy...

    He just seems to be soooooo married, even if not on paper :lol: ( I'm gunna catch hell for that one) . . . . I wish my Wife knew how to tighten up the reigns once in a while, but then I guess we wouldn't get a long so good. Hey what can I say, She spoils me waay too much . . . :beach:

    My post disapeared ! . . . post #3. I had my first ign switch go out (and maybe the second one) before I had aux lights & heated gear. My third switch with this stuff has lasted longer than both of the others combined. I sure wouldn't give up this awesome machine over the switch . . .
