Something like this happened with mine by not removing the simple green solution. It baked in and cracked the lens. There has to be one of those 10 pound brain types that can explain what happened. The best I can do with chemistry is making a Jack and Coke.

Race tech's definition is what I think of when I hear static sag. Static sag is just the weight of the bike on the shock/forks.

I would try to undo whatever you did. IMO this bike (mines an '08 with 24K) runs fantastic as a stock set up. Hopefully you get it resolved soon. I tried to get info on code 33, but I believe you need a seperate manual for OBD troubleshooting codes. Someone will chime in and get you fixed up.
