What did you do to your FJR today?

I don't take the tray out, just remove all the screws and hold it up, so I can wiggle the air box past it. I find it a lot more difficult to get everything all back together. The rubber connectors on either side of the throttle bodies are sometimes difficult to get all lined up. Some kinda...

Ah crap! I'm sorry to hear this Joe, but I'm glad you're ok.

    Leaking Radiator

Sorry, I just assumed you had the fairing off. I've never done it with the fairing on. That bolt threads into the aluminum frame and has to pass through the mounting bracket, while lining everything up through a mess of wires. It takes a little patience to make sure you aren't cross threading...

    Leaking Radiator

^ Yep, I do the same...move wires out of the way and use a 1/4" drive 10mm on a long extension. The bolt comes out easier than it goes back in.

He's always welcome to stop at my place in Toledo and we'll swap it out in my garage. Free meal, shower, nap, whatever included.

Shock needed for Greg L. Between GA and Minnesota

He can have the 57,000 mile takeoff from my '09. Unfortunately, I'm up in the Toledo, OH area.

Lessons Learned on changing the CCT

Dave, just do it, it isn't bad at all. I combined it with this year's "winter service", which means all my fairings, radiator, exhaust and the whole top of the motor was removed (including the throttle bodies). Piece of cake then.

I'll be on my way home from the OBX, probably coming through Athens, but I'll be too tired by then for many shenanigans. You fellers have fun!

Tire Machine, Harbor Freight knock-off, Mojo Lever & Blocks, $100 OBO

Bump I store mine disassembled in the attic above the garage. When I want to use it, I bolt it right to the garage floor. I drilled four holes and dropped in anchors for lag bolts. It works really well.

So it took us almost two years to bring another dog into our lives. We decided in order to fill the giant hole Daisy left, we needed a giant dog. Here's Stella the day we brought her home, easily fit in my lap. Here she is today at 85 pounds, and not full grown. Her personality is more...
