    Final Gear Oil Question

I don't understand your logic as in another thread you use Rotella 15-40 in the motor which is clearly NOT what Yamaha recommends for the FJR but you feel it's so important to follow Yamaha's gear oil requirements. Humm.... As a user of Rotella and 85-90 gear oil in my Tenere I don't worry...

West Coast Gathering (WCG) - Group Dinner Info - June 17, 2023

Most likley whoever cancelled isn't following this thread anymore. Perhaps you should call the hotel directly and see if you can get on a list to pick up a room if there is another cancellation by one of us or the general public.

    I experienced Winter!

I was wondering how he bought a Raptor for only 55k and where was all the snow? Then I realized this is a TEN year old thread as this year you would have only seen walls of record snowfall.

What's the Weather like where YOU are today?

This winter in the Sierra's mother nature said "hold my beer"! We are even surpassing the record year of 82-83 in Northern Ca. Over 57 FEET of snow in the Lake Tahoe region. If I see another snowflake I'm going postal!

Idaho, Utah and Colorado Friends - Ride Planning Advice

I hope I didn't play it up too much but I just enjoy that road for the fun factor and going by Mono lake near the old volcanoes. If you have time as you get within a few miles of Hwy 6 there is a paved road on your right called Benton cut-off rd. that takes you back to 395 above Bishop, well...

Idaho, Utah and Colorado Friends - Ride Planning Advice

Honestly your route from Vegas on 95 is boring...real boring. May I humbly suggest when riding Vegas to Bridgeport, I'd go through Death Valley on 190 to Bishop on up to Bridgeport or if you want to skip the heat of DV take Nev 266 (off 95 above Beatty) through Lida and 168 to Big Pine for...

The WHY NOT 2023 is a reality!

Just crawling out from the latest snowmageden of the century. Power restored after 10 fun filled days on the generator and snow shovel. Whenever our internet service is restored I’ll be committed even though I should have been committed years ago.

Some of my friends just seem to know how to live life!

He washed it later that day with a rag and the hotel room waste basket full of water. Dirt and dust are no match for George.

Some of my friends just seem to know how to live life!

Seems George's 18 needed a nap in the deep sand on our way to the Pinnacles. Didn't have the heart to take a pic so...without pictures-it didn't happen!

The first picture has better golden lighting but both really could use a piece of pie. JSNS Good on you for getting out!

    RIP - Duane Wellington - 1911

His RR's were excellent. His wonderful wife Marilee was the pillion photographer. I met them a couple times out west at YFO and the Ruben run plus a dinner with them at Marks place in SC. A good man gone too soon.
