Love my FZ1 mirrors. Had them on my last 3 FJRs. Thinking of upgrading to a Gen 3. With Freds advice I'm hoping for an easy install. GP

When I ordered mine, they told me they only used two different density foams. Firm and a little less than firm. I told them I wanted the less. I like the seat. Much better than stock, but I think I got the firm foam. Seems very hard. GP

Yeah, I'm 66 and it's getting a little harder to use my FJR, but I'm going to ride it till I can't hold it up anymore. Then I might get it triked. Ha!

And I did. Love these tires. I noticed on another thread about the tires that are replacing these that one guy got some head shake. Don't think I have ever had that with the 3D XMs. GP

I just saw on another forum that Cee Baily quit making motorcycle accessories. I was looking at a Gen3 FJR and just wondering about a windshield for it. Very disappointed that that is true. I've ordered three from them over the years and thought they were about as good as it gets. Very good...

Everything I've seen so far show's more pics of a clear coat blue. Looks like the same ole Cobalt blue again. I like the cobalt. I own a 2012. But there has been a lot of blue lately. GP

Well, looks like I will not be attending SFO this year because of a health issue. Haven't missed one since 2008. Hopefully I will be good to go for next year. Now I'm seeing we are having a twin peaks bartender this year. Dang it! Maybe she will be back next year. Gary

I used to run the Bosch filters, but they change it up and it will not seal properly now. GP

I've tried several different batteries in the past (cheaper) The Yuasa batteries are still worth the extra cost to me. Had very good luck with them. GP
