Yeah, I need to win the lottery too! ha! I've been thinking of having my bike shipped to San Diego to start a West coast ride up to Canada then back to the Dallas area. Would save me a few days of vacation and I've seen most of the geography between here and Cali. Who are you using to ship the bike?

This is all new to me. I was used to the B spec being the heavier, stiffer side wall tire for the FJR. GP

My 04 was pretty good but a little buzzy. Then when I got my 08, I noticed much more vibes at the same RPM. Now I have a 2012 and by far the smoothest of the lot. There have been discussions on here about all FJRs seem to be just a little different mechanically. I think it's a factory thing...

If you are an experienced rider, I would think you could tell the difference between engine vibration and bad bearings or an unbalanced wheel. I think I could. My 04 was smoother at 4,000 rpms than my next 08. When I bought my 12, I could immediately tell it was smoother at 4,000 rpm than the...
