TPS is Throttle Position Sensor. IAPS is Intake Air Pressure Sensor. Which one did you order? I think you meant to order the IAPS. If a sensor or any electrical part is used, you can't return it. I would try the Fuel Pressure regulator first. If that fixes it, then you can return the IAPS. I say...
Yes basics. Spark, fuel, air. Check the compression, throw new plugs in it, and check spark on all 4. If still not right check fuel pressure. It looks like the MAP and temp sensors are working so it may be fuel issue.
Also as Ross mentioned. The big white wire harness plug under the tank towards the front. It has been known to cause running issues if there's any corroded connectors in it.
All of your readings look normal. I don't think the Baro ready is not inches or mm of Hg. I think it is just a number sent to ECM that changes with baro then the ECM looks at a chart to come up with the proper settings. I'm pretty sure about this but not certain so it needs to be checked.
Did...
If it starts and runs after unplugging the MAP and plugging the Vacuum line, then that tells me the MAP is working. Because you plugged the line you are not introducing air and leaning it out. When the MAP has no vacuum it tells the ECM max load or WOT so the ECM richens things up by keeping...
Sounds like it needs more fuel to run. By unhooking a vacuum line anywhere, the MAP sensor see's low vacuum and thinks the engine is at WOT, so it tells the ECM to richen it up by holding the injectors open longer. Test this by just taking the vacuum line off the MAP sensor and see if it runs...
That's OK. In stock form the S4 is the first to melt usually.
The S6 is going thru the S4 in stock trim. Making the S4 have the most current going thru it. The S6 had the next highest current going thru it.
If the S6 was run to directly to battery, then the current on the S4 will be much lower...
If you don't have a plug and play, ground harness at this point you don't need it. All you need to do is cut out the S6 spider under the glovebox, solder the wires together, also solder in a wire that will reach from the S6 wires to the battery neg term. This will take care of the S6 and take...
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I'm very thankful that I live in this great country, and I am able to have an FJR, and I have met and made a lot of friends.
I am thankful to be a part of the FJR community, and thankful for all of you that I have made friends with.
Of course, most of all thankful...
Hey Greg, I was down your way last Wednesday and was wondering what you are up to these days.
I haven't been to many events lately, but I did enjoy talking with you at them.

Here's a pic of my 07 1 day before I wrecked it. It had 127,000 miles and still was amazing. Now I have a 08 AE. It has about 30,000 miles , so I'm looking forward to at least 100,000 more smiles.
sounds like a bad battery. What is the voltage of the battery? Make sure the lead and fuse between the tender and battery are good. In other words, make sure the charger is actually getting to battery. Also the tender puts out high charge for a little while then goes to trickle charge. So if you...
