Absolutely great pics. Thanks, I felt like I was with you. A couple comments: As far as the windshield note about Camera? Flag?..I had my flag clipped to my camera 100% of the time, and I had used a practice flag clipped to my camera for about 1.5 years prior to the Rally to make sure I had...

Great post, Matt. The only time I took off my emergency contact card to either sleep or shower, I would put it in my boot so that I would be sure to remember to put it back on. I used a car tire on my FJR in the 2011 IBR and it performed perfectly. My riding partner had a catastrophic tire...

    FJR Mileage Milestones

I am still on Sport-Touring.net. I first started reading it in 03 before I got my motorcycle license and started riding. It taught me a lot about how to ride and I met some great people. Anyway...I just contacted Ed aka mxvet...and he reported that his FJR is now up to 347k miles!

    FJR Mileage Milestones

Hula girl rocks!!! I'm glad to see her upright and in one piece. With you, you never know. Now remember, you didn't put ALL those miles on her. I was honored to take her on a high speed run from Gerlach to Empire and back while you were testing my POS Gen 2 with the ******* car tire. What...

BAD DOG! July 2018 Cognoscente Group event

Had a great time as a slacker at Bad Dog. Toured the Lehman Caves and took a ride on the Nevada Northern Railway. Rider X, if you can't wait until 2020 you ought to come to Alamo and see how many miles you can see in 24. Our slogan is all the Nevada you can ride in 24 hours. No mileage cap...
