Your issue is that the ABS pump has some frozen spool valves. It was a fairly common occurrence on the Gen I ABS system. Much less common on Gen 2 and on. There's nothing you can do about it. It is not repairable. The prevailing theory on preventative measures is to flush the brake system...

You can always ride down here to Phoenix and we'll swap out one my good fuel tank/fuel pumps to see if that fixes it. That way, verify, or eliminate one cause of the problem.

Your battery shouldn't be getting weak in one year. Or two. Unless it is a POS battery. I suspect there is something wrong with your charging system. What volts is it at with engine running?

You are not being clear. When you turn press the start button, does the starter operate and turn over the engine, but it just wont start? Or, the starter and motor aren't even turning? Don't jump to conclusions. It's probably something simple.

It took them a while to sell them. Longer than I would have thought. I got my '23 from Romney back in May. Needless to say I paid a wee bit more than you. But it was still priced aggressively for that time. Which is why I flew from Phoenix and rode it home. Great dealer!

No idea. Like you, I knew the driveshaft was different but when I went to the parts diagrams the actual final drive assembly has different part numbers between Gen I and Gen II.

Your '06 FJR doesn't match up to Gen I final drive or driveshaft part numbers......
