    Relay arm bearing time.

A huge thanks to hppants. The FJR is back together and the suggestion to support it by the rear exhaust brackets is by far the safest and most secure method I have tried. Canadian FJR

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

Ok, time for specifics.  Do I need to do anything different with the vent on the auxiliary tank?  My vent is simply coming off a nipple at the top of the tank.  My fill cap is flush, not a raised fill neck like yours. Also, what kind of temps did you ride in? Canadian FJR

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

There have been many threads on fuel cells over the years.  Hard to believe no one tried this long ago. Good on you travel_man, a fresh set of eyes. Canadian FJR

    Relay arm bearing time.

I cut both the front ones off and will run new ones from the inside out. Much easier the next time. on a positive note, all the bearings and bushings look great.  Just plan to clean, re-lube and get it back together. Canadian FJR

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

Question: On my other FJR, I drilled my tank.  I kept the aux tank off until the main tank was around a 1/4 full then I flipped the switch and watched the fuel bars climb. If I leave the fuel cell off with this scenario, how will the main tank vent? Canadian FJR

    2018 FJR AUX Tank Plumbing

In theory, if the aux tank was mounted higher it should transfer quicker wouldn't it? Your timing is perfect, mine is on the lift and the aux tank is on my winter "to-do" list. Canadian FJR

    Relay arm bearing time.

Any issues if I replace the front two center stand bolts with full thread bolts?  No shoulder on them like the original? Canadian FJR

Half way through getting the center stand removed. Time to cut the front two ******* bolts. Third time doing this job and it still sucks. Canadian FJR
