2019 Western FJR Owners' Gathering (West-FOG)

Haven't been to active on the forum lately, but since I've recently retired, will hopefully get a chance to stretch the FJR legs and get out and attend some of these. A shame I have to miss this one as it's in the backyard as they say. Tomorrow the wife and I leave on a 4 month journey around...

Would Like Advice on MOTO GP at COTA

Consider yourself lucky about not getting pit passes. Total waste of money as you are still VERY limited on where you can go and what you can see. Lyft or the Austin local service will work fine, but you might just find someone to ride with. I think I remember a buddy of mine saying that...

Jewelry for Naomi - Wiring Routing

Thanks Don, I did find them on webbikeworld as well, at $8.50 each. Your link had them at $12 each.....That's either $17 or $24 for just one set...OUCH!. For what I'm currently doing I'll just go with a standard Deutsch connector. A bit more assembly required but much cheaper.

SOLD Closet Purge - Low Cost Jackets, Pants

LOL. Unfortunately not. We had bungeed the pants over the bikes seat as you are warned about these pesky critters from the moto tour company we rented the bikes from. The pants were underneath the bungee they pecked thru, and then got to the seat! *******s were still playing with the end of...

SOLD Closet Purge - Low Cost Jackets, Pants

Old gear I no longer need. I lost weight and its too big, except for the Bilt jacket. I take care of my gear with wiping it down after rides and it comes from a non smoking house. It will show some minor stains and such as it hasn’t been washed but once in their life, but you wouldn’t know it...

    Really bad day today

Yeah, hardest thing I think I've ever had to do. Our Yellow Lab gave us 13.5 years. Brought back a lump in my stomach reading this. At least you have Charlie to fill some of the emptiness.

    Advice on Using Tie-Downs

there are alternatives to the Canyon Dancer. See https://www.tiedownclamp.com/index.php and https://barcuffs.com/ I've got both, have yet to use the Cuffs, but the Kafe clamp worked pretty well. Only issue is the rubber piece glued to the inside is a bit to thick and you really have to...
