    Summer Helmet Thread

I run a Shoei Neotec year round with a Sena 10U system installed. Cleaning the liner just depends on if it has been hot and sweaty, or if it rains. I have a Shoei Qwest as my backup helmet. I try to get a replacement every 4-5 years.

    Deals Gap GoPro Footage

Yeah, it was a chest mount. I've tried others but I like the chest mount the best.

    Deals Gap GoPro Footage

Here is some GoPro footage of my recent Deals Gap trip from last weekend. It's not the fastest, but I was having fun. I rode it the next day on my way home about 6am, and I didn't see another vehicle.

    Cherohala/US129 day

You must have been there about the same time as me. I was there Thursday through Sunday. I witnessed the Semi getting stuck blocking traffic. The truck dropped off the road and slid into the guardrail. The driver had no phone, spoke no english, and didn't want anyone's help. He just sat there. I...

Favorite Communicator Uclear, Sena, Cardo, GMRS, What?

I have seen this issue before. I had best luck by making the music volume on the phone at max volume, then adjust the final volume on the Sena unit.

    Dyna Bead Issue?

"******** baffles brains", so does misunderstanding. I just try to have a conversation and not be an *** about it. They stick with a static charge, the way they are designed to do once finding the light/heavy spots of the tire.

    Dyna Bead Issue?

Yes, there are different brands. The two main brands, which are DynaBeads and CounterAct are the best for motorcycles. The larger beads, primarily cheap ebay ones, are not the same, hence why there are mixed results. I have seen cheap ebay beads not stick to the tire, and in turn, not balance...

    Dyna Bead Issue?

Well good thing I am not on a race bike at a race track. I am gonna keep my balanced wheels with my magical non-balancing balancing beads.

    Dyna Bead Issue?

No one is ever going to agree on this stuff, just like car tire discussion(Not a fan BTW). Of course, everyone always wants to compare to MotoGP, the series that has tire failures for no apparent reason? To each their own i guess.

    Dyna Bead Issue?

Hah, 4 ounces is nothing. I've had people bring bike tires for me to change with 5-6 ounces of stick on weights. They were "professionally balanced" by the dealer. Pulled all that off and replaced with 2 ounces of beads, no more issues.

Trailer build rev 2, possible production

I think for that price range, your competition will be this: https://www.kompactkamptrailers.com/#!kadette/c1mn6 I am in the process of restoring one, and it does not have a metal framework underneath, just the torsion axle and the tongue/jack. The torsion axle is a 400# The box is reinforced...

    Dyna Bead Issue?

I've ran balancing beads several times without issue. I didn't have any in stock when I installed my rear tire. Now I have a vibration. One thing to note, different brand beads are different sizes. The smaller the beads, the better the balance has been my findings.
