Due the excessive heat lately we haven't been on many rides (today we did go up the Mtn though). We been mostly going on hikes before breakfast in the desert at the end of our street. Here's hike we went on Monday morning.....  

My 04 FJR came with some Pilot Powers from previous owner. Good tire but if I think I only got half the mileage as sport/touring tires.

Many years ago, I rode with a guy from Vegas on our Kawi Concours's  to a Moto Guzi rally at a park in Prescott (he knew some of these guys). Really cool bikes & peeps!

We had a nice & cool trip today to the mountains. Even had some lite rain when we got there, & thankfully no Lighting & Thunder. Sunday did feel like we were 12 ft from the Sun, done at 8 am & it was already over 90.

Hey Friends, the past 6 weeks we been mostly ride'n up the Mtn for some hikes. (limited by the big fire restrictions.) The past week has been incredibly Hot in Arizona, breaking records for days in a row of extreme heat. So we been walking out the desert down the street early in the morning...

Actually it's a 2006 Sportster ( I have a 2005).  He did have a 2nd motor put in a few years ago, due to a mistake he made rebuilding the orig. motor

Yesterday we had cool weather for this time of year in Arizona. So, Duchess & the boys rode down to the river.... 

Yep peeps confirmed to me an F -35, how cool to see 200 million dollars of jets roar over us!

Friday we rode up to the mountain park which had a small section open after the fire. While on the nature trail as I was shooting burn areas with my big lens. Two low flying F-35 Jets screamed over us. I got one good lucky shot. Didn't have the footage for one of my movies. But here's one from...

Yesterday morning we rode out I-40 about 18 miles east from our place. And hiked on a trail out of the RV park there...

Seem like a lot of locals hang out there. The Broasted Chicken I had for lunch was Excellent! (Duchess loved the bits of it she got Too!).

A Week Ago a huge fire started in the local Mtns on a day when we were having 50 mph wind gusts. By the next night it was in our beloved Mtn county park. A near miracle happened on Monday as a rain front came in & rain & snow doused the fire (rain has been very scarce this year). Wednesday we...

On Saturday I went over to Mother Road HD/Yamaha/Honda dealer for a scaled down fest. Then after Lunch Ken & I rode back up to Oatman. 

Laughlin River Run was cancelled again this year, but we had route 66 bike week! Here's Thursday with the Duchess!

Friday Duchess & the boys rode down to Davis Camp county park on the Colorado River near Laughlin Nv on the Arizona side. Duchess was in heaven & had a blast!

Friday we rode to south cove the southern end of Lake Mead...
