Have you ever heard the comment RTFM. I used to hear it a lot. On page 4-24 of the 2008 FJR service manual, step 6 starts "Measure:...." But after reading your comments I went back and re-read the fine print. It says to measure only if you replace the bearings. Thanks for all the comments.

Went for a 2 hour ride yesterday. Down shifting sticks the same at end of ride as is does at the beginning. No more problems with up shifting any time. I like the synthetic idea. Will try in time. Thanks, Doug
