Looks like somewhere along the Columbia River but that leaves lots of options.

I've only been east of the Mississippi once and that was in 72 riding a chopper with Cali plates. My Easy rider experience.

Black hills. Don't remember the name of the road but it has the cool wood bridges and you can see Rushmore through the last tunnel.

My daughter started on dirt bikes around our acreage and her first street bike was a 03 EX500 Kawi. great little bike that can be had pretty cheap these days and are very capable. She would still have it but she stopped making the payments and I wasn't going to. tough love.

My wife Patti lost her fight with Dementia at home early Monday. We had 38 good years together. 

I had #216 of the first bunch and found the heat wasn't that bad as long as I had on good gear. Over time I did some insulation but it never was a serious problem. My current 04 is stock and is no problem.

Welcome from central Or. I lived on San Juan island for 30 years . Lots of good info here and you have a large number of members in Puget sound. Check out the travel section for the Reuben Run in September. There is always a large group from Wa. headed this way fur the fun.

Update!!! The ******* thing runs. Got fuel to it and the carbs didn't leak. Pulled the choke and the damn thing started right up on the choke and then idled just fine. Seems to have gears in the trans and all the electrical works except the horn.  Hard to believe it hasn't run in almost 30...

If there ever was a good reason to keep going that's it. I would rather have The Covid than Skooter boooggeerrs. At least there is a vaccine for Covid. Skooter boogers are are invasive and can't be stopped. :****:

Hopefully a fire in it. Just did a comp test and although not great it's good enough to run. It's been sitting since 92 so I didn't expect it to be great. If it will run ,I'm sure a few heat cycles will bring it up. Need to get some fuel to it next. It's got a strange fuel control solenoid that...
