I don't know jack about changing the seals... BUT! those photos look suspiciously like the photos I saw in a thread from the earliest times of the forum. Long story short was that the leak was originating at the rear drive, and traveling down the length of the drive shaft and swingarm passage...

My experience was no. The first pair the zippers exploded before I got them to the bike. The seller sent me a replacement pair, and those broke the first night of the first trip. I got a set of OEM liners after that, and haven't had any problems in years and years of riding. In this case...

My opinion is that rotor locks are a waste of money. I've seen the cheaper ones picked easily (some with a ball point pen). Most thieves are going to part the bike out anyway, so they just take the front wheel off and remove the disc, with the lock still attached.

You need to buy the bag mount rails for the Gen 1 FJR, and then come up with a bracket to hold them on the tail of the FZ1. On Gen2's, the bag mounts are build into the rear subframe.

Someone should take the hammer away from her. She's hitting the nail way off-square, and is only going to bend things over.

There's more to it than just the auto-retract. It also has to do with where you are in latitude, which windscreen you have, time of day, weather, etc etc. When I parked my bike in the same place at work every day with the windscreen the in the same position for the better part of 4 years, I...

So the sun doesn't burn holes in your dash when the up-position windscreen acts like a giant magnifying glass. If you disable auto retract, don't part facing north on sunny days! Speaking from experience.

There are some photos of my bike in finished form floating around, they just never got posted in that thread. They were taken at WFO, so you might find them in the WFO area (2009's meet). I like the setup I've got, but wish I had more high-beam. The high beam I've got is brighter than stock...

What, like this? The biggest issue I have now is that the cut-off is so crisp, I'm either blinding oncoming drivers or loose a lot of my distance lighting depending on whether I'm braking or accelerating. Here is my original thread from a couple years ago. I never got around to posting...
