    Skyway's Aux. Fuel Cell Kit

We've left this thread open for a long time. We've also stated that only users involved in the transaction should continue any further. There's been no actual news in over a year, so I'm putting this one to bed. If there's an actual discussion that needs to take place, please start a new...

There must be an easier way

I put a small piece of silicone tubing under the nut any time I install a new battery. It won't degrade, isn't conductive, and acts like a spring.

    Suspension Issue?

The knob gets stiff to turn at either extreme of the adjustment range. It should not take much force to turn within the adjustment range.

    Suspension Issue?

There are two adjustments on the stock shock a. The preload switch (hard or soft, under left lower rear sub-frame rail) b. The damping adjuster know (located on the bottom of the shock unit, plastic wheel with finger notches) I'm working on the assumption you're talking about B. There should...

    Do these frames bend?

Bent forks are bent forks. The words "slight" or "just a little" don't apply here. The front sub-frame is easily *bent* and broken, most often bent, in any collision when the bike ends up on the side. Me sure that the bodywork is straight too. A mis-aligned front end would make it appear the...

    Under 30 Crowd

****, you guys are generalizing too far. I'm in the under 30 crowd and grew up with outhouses and rabbit ears. And from where I sit, you guys were the ones responsible for raising us right. Where does the blaim really lie?

    Suck it, Electrosport!

You all are right that the output varies with RPM. I should have said that it always outputs it's maximum potential at any given RPM. The output is directly dependant on the magnetic field and windings, not the system voltage. Saying that low system voltage makes the stator work harder would...

    Tires

The service quality in the tri-cities area is what drove me to changing my own tires. You're best bet would be MR Cycles in Asheville, about 1.5 hours away.

    Suck it, Electrosport!

Not true. Stators run at full output all the time, by virtue of the regulator/rectifier design. It's not like a car alternator. The fried electrosports are more a heat and materials issue. Either the materials aren't good enough to hold up to the engine heat, or the output level is so high...

    Southern Wisconsin for the weekend

That's why I'm in town for the weekend. And it looks like I was mis-informed. We're actually in Madison, not Janesville.

You have to look carefully Eric. Ignacio is situated uncomfortably underneath SkooterG. Guess we got this whole cow/bull thing figured out in this case.

    Will a 08 motor bolt into a 04 readily?

Skooter my good friend, I could kick you in the butt right now. This would have made a perfect donor bike for my electric commuter vehicle! Animalrooster: If you decide against the project, let me know! Otherwise, good luck!
