Welcome from the great white north! I saw your post about the harness, it would be for Gen 2 bike I'm afraid. Good luck with your electrical issues, if you were close I'd help you out. I do this electrical stuff for fun.
I installed the Soupy's links and lowered the rear about 3/4". Also slid the forks up about 1/2". I have a 30" inseam so it's worked for me, I roll the bike onto a piece of 3/4" plywood to make getting it on the centre stand easier. The first thing you will drag is the centre stand, AMHIK. The...
I looked this up on ronayers.com and you have the correct part number. (Former parts guy here) What year is your bike? I looked it up for my '09, look up your specific model/year to be sure.

Hopefully you have SR20 in Washington on your agenda, you won't be disappointed. As for the Vancouver - Whistler leg, try not to do this on a weekend as the traffic is ridiculous. Sounds like a great trip, ride safe!

I did a search here and cannot find anything similar to my issue, also tried to post a video with sound but can't seem to. Bike on the centrestand in gear, when I move the rear wheel back & forth there is a loud clunk where the u-joint would be. I realize there is a certain amount of normal play...
I have the X Sound 3 speakers and am quite happy with them. I find they sound better than the JBL's that came with the Cardo, but others may have had different results. The bass response is typical of a helmet speaker which as mophead states it won't sound like a subwoofer. I use a Fiio A1...
There is a perfectly placed ridge on the wheels, good masking tape and some aircraft stripper did the trick. I was getting new tires so I did all this work with the tires dismounted which made it easier.
No clear coat but it would cut down on maintaining the finish had I done so. They're a bit of work to keep looking good but I still think it was worthwhile.
