l use Life 360 my wife cam see where I live. But she can see how fast I'm going.

Dale I .... built a bracket for Gen II R Garza that moves the rear bars a inch or so closer to the bags. It was enough my wife noticed a difference. Simple, he drilled 4 holes R Garza bolt pattern, the first two nuts and bolts for holding it to the foot peg castings and the other two a inch...

The rear braces on the R Garza for the Gen II do not bolt flush to the rear peg. They send 1 inch bushings/spacers and longer bolts. They protect the bags but when mine fell over those bolts bent. The fronts may mount flush I use frame sliders.

TRex might be a better choice then R Garza. Shame Canyon Cages went out of business.

2008 just remove the black ABS right side top cover above the battery. 3 allen head bolts and push pins. No need to remove the painted fairing.

Dan installed a Batteries Plus AGM in my 2008 AE when I purchased it from him Feb 2019. It still working great 5 years later, I do use a Deltran Battery Tender that monitors and goes in sleep mode.

The chrome plated dual metal T valve stems I use with my FOBO2 TPMS I had to use a thin wall 1/4" drive scocket to tighten the stem nut and sealing rubber washer inside the wheel.

I see a lot of DFW area owners on this thread, we should do a RTE ride to eat this spring. GPRIDER ride it check them at 50K save the $. I purchased my 2008 AE from Dan in 2019 it had 43,000 and the clearances were still in spec. It has 62,000 miles on it now runs great. I'll check them again...

Keith did you have the headlight issue repaired? This past summer was extremely HOT making wrenching on our bikes diffcult for us older owners. Louis
