We've got a couple of riders high-tailing it through the Finger Lakes. Could be going anywhere but I'd put my money on the Women's Rights National Historic Park in Seneca Falls. Women's Rights National Historical Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov)

Meanwhile, Chris Purney also went through Nevada and ran north to Oregon and Washington but lost his struggle to get through Wisconsin and Chicago (always a difficult task) in time. I hate traffic. Standings and Day Five update are posted. 2021 Iron Butt Rally

Just saw a photo on Facebook. Michael Boge made it to Checkpoint #1. 

Could be David Uhl and the deer strike. Not that I would know anything about running into deer in the Oregon Cascades near Eugene.

And they don't seem to be moving...again. 2,000 miles from Burns to Carmel. 

And now, 9 hours later, he/she is 200 miles down the road in Burns. Let's hope they got good rest.  And BTW, the rider might be about to begin one of my favorite roads, Hwy 20 from Burns, OR to Vale. The half to the West is as fast as you'd like with the second half following the Malheur river...

We've got a rider still in Oregon on Hwy 126. Rural and not the quickest road in the world. Strange.

I was at the start and had never seen the bike before.  Mike gave me a walk around and all I can say is the work is incredible. Except for the hydration system hanging where the left pipe would be, there's very little extra aero drag. Practically as slick as a stock 'Busa and, without a doubt...

Folks...while we wait to hear the results and stories of the 2019 IBR, now's a great time to point your browser over to Spotwalla and make a donation. Spotwalla changed the way we enjoy our rides and rallies and allows us to save the tracks indefinitely, something the SPOT corporation never did...

And the rider on the Gaspe Peninsula also has a feat ahead of them. 1,400 or so miles in 19 hours if my math is correct. Here's hoping the Spotwalla delay is significant.

Now THATS funny. A trend we need to continue. I'll go on record for 2021. My rally ready FJR is available if needed. PNW and Nor-Cal.

Did everyone notice that George was mentioned in the Day10 report. Not by name but by action. The image of the "lighthouse" waaaay off in the distance from 2005...that's George's.
