Those look delicious, Hudson. I've tried to shy away from bars with chocolate on them. Do you think they would survive stored in a tankbag in the desert SW in July? I suspect I'd look like a three year old after having an ice cream sundae.

For those of you who don't know, I'll be riding in the 2013 Iron Butt Rally. For those of you who care, I've committed to doing a blog entry every day for the next three months leading up to the start. You can find it here.

I have to admit...it kinda strikes me as sacrilegious. But arriving at the with the bike ready to go (no oil to change, no tires to mount) has it attractions. Plus I get to spend 40 hours straight in Iggy's awesomeness. How can you say no to that?

Just and FYI...Hwy 14 from Cedar City to Hwy 89, right toward the end of your ride, will be slow and likely deer infested. Take your time through there. Watch out for sheep on the road as well...DAMHIK! Got a place to stay in Kanab? The wife and I stayed at Quail Park Lodge on the way home...
