    2011 Utah 1088 - June 23 to Jun 26

So is my math correct: it looks like Iggy has about 700 miles to go and 10 hours to do it in...at the end of a three day hell run

    Dutch Treat

And Dutch Treat is in the books. There's a video report here Many thanks to Greg, Jerry, Ray and Dan for showing up at the stops and lifting my spirits. Nice to have some fellow LD guys joining in the fun. A special thanks to Karen for filling in for Dennis...something about another ride...

    IBA SS1000 done 06-12-2011

And now you know one of the biggest "secrets" of the LD community; a good seat is everything. A big congratulations on your ride :)

Sorry for being off line for a few days...life. If the paper would like to do a story, that would be great. I have a press pack available if they want it. PM me and I'll get it to you. The PR firm that Dutch Bros uses is supposed to be contacting all the stores. They liked the video and...

    IBR Pilgrimage Begins

I've been preoccupied with various stuff this year and not paying as close attention to the IBR as I would like. With that said, the very best of luck to all the FJR-IBR contingent this year...safe travels, best of luck, I hope everyone achieves their goals for the Big Dance. Most importantly...

    Dutch Treat

Disappointed, but totally understandable. I'm doing the ride this time of year to maximize my daylight just as the IBR is doing now. I'd love to have Karen show up if she's able.

Yeah, it's gonna be warm in Phoenix...during rush hour traffic. Not how I'd like to do it but there was little choice. Oh, and BTW, what are you going to be doing between Thursday and the 16 days until the IBR finish?

    Dutch Treat

I hadn't thought of that  And thanks for the donation, Doug. Much appreciated.

What: 162 Dutch Bros Coffee locations in under 162 hours. When: June 16th through 22nd. Where: Seven western states. Why: For fun, to say I did it and to raise some money for Shelly’s House. While 5,000 miles in 7 days won’t set the LD world on fire, what makes this ride a challenge is the...

    Triumph Tiger...

Thanks for the write up Jon. I've been interested in Triumph products for the last decade or so, but have never taken the plunge. Being heavy into LD riding right now, the FJR fits my riding. I start thinking of a Tiger and mentally begin adding lights, better wind protection, extra fuel...

    Painted the Wheels on 05

Me likey. :) There are a few other bits that might look good color matched as well. I'm looking forward to where this might be going!

    MotoGP - LeMans

Simo is a bit reckless. Dani just happened to be in the way. Based on the tears in his eyes, perhaps Simo is learning being fastest isn't enough to be a great racer at this level; you also have to think.

A garage mate for the FJR

A hundred extra watts of alternator power would be nice. Other than that I think this is the best sporty tourer to come along in a long time.

    Eeksnake is the man!

Yeah, Chris is a pretty good guy...for a Gen II rider. :)

    Frankentank 2

Nicely done! Oh, and you'll probably wonder how you ever got by with only 6.5 gallons of fuel. :)

    UE 700s

+1. Used one pair for about 6 years. One transducer quit working a couple of years ago and Bob fixed it for free. I can't guarantee he'd do for anyone; they were way out of warranty at the time. I've been very satisfied.
