Yea, I think the technology is really getting there for this solution. The mini-tablet link above contains an internal GPS receiver and the Touratech software looks very powerful.

What I've been thinking about lately is combining the GPS with the PC so you don't have to carry both. Basically, you could mount a mini, weather-proof tablet PC where your GPS is and when you get somewhere, you take it off and unpack your USB keyboard and you are good to go. A solution would...

My bike has done this since day one. If I break somewhat hard or accelerate rapidly, the ABS light is likely to flash untill I shutoff the bike and restart.

So....I'm only breaking the law 5 miles per hour less than I thought?

You know, just my opinion, but the sterotype that this is trying to overcome seems like the black leather and studs type of biker image. When I'm dressed in my blue and white Yahama jacket, rding pants, boots and so forth, I've never seen anyone show an adverse reaction. JMHO

Yes, they went from "Crazt Busy" to only "Really Busy". It is amazing that people come from all over to this little out of the way place to eat. Of course, FJR riders are understandable, as we will go about anywhere. ;)
