Who was draggin' a bag on the Dragon?

Well, you can tell that it was not me in the picture because it was not followed by a post regarding how well my helmet, gloves, jacket and pants held up after sliding down the asphalt!

    Removal of Warning Sticker

I took all the stickers off my last Yamaha 1100, including the tuning forks from the tank. On the FJR all I have done is remove that pesky sticker on the tank. Used a little citrus based solvent and it worked just fine. Can't tell there was ever anything there.

    New Respect for Arizona Riders

My wife and I went out for a date in Scottsdale AZ a few years ago, it was 107 at the time. After we were riding for awhile, I asked her if she was hot, and she said she was warm, but it was not that bad. It's all about the humidity!

    Rear Frame Sliders?

Wish I had Shure earbuds with a microphone

I use the S-Plug in ear speakers from cycle gadgets Clicky They fit almost completely in your ear and will fit in ANY helmet. I also cut the speakers out of my helmet and wired a 3/4 inch plug into the headset so that I can use these instead of the speakers. They work great, and I have the Mic...

    Fed Ex Home Delivery Option

For me, over time Fed-Ex has been the best. I missed a paycheck one day because UPS did not deliver in the snow, but the Fed-Ex guy showed up. That said, I also spent a Monday waiting for a package sent "Home Delivery" because I never saw anything about them being closed on Mondays. It should be...

So, the 4th falls on a Friday, and many of us will have a long weekend. I've managed to survive breaking the news at home that I'll disappear sometime on Thursday the 3rd and show back up sat night or Sunday. Anyone have any good travel plans? I'm thinking about getting a tent and visiting the...
