    Fieldsheer Attack Jacket - Opinions/Sizing

I received my Fieldsheer Attack and Siberia jackets last week. They definitely run small - I had to exchange the 2X Siberia for a 3X, and I have a 48" chest. The size 52 Attack jacket is just about right, though the sleeves are a touch long. I'm fairly happy with the jackets, in part because...

    Garmin 2610 vs. 2720 (and 2730)

Stryg8r, Most of the comparative information I mentioned can be found at the GPS Passion site I gave the link to above. Granted, I don't have first hand knowledge of the 27xx, but those who do, and have used the 2610 mentioned more than once the greater configurability of the 2610. Again...

    Garmin 2610 vs. 2720 (and 2730)

YMMV, but I think the "Text to Speech" feature is overrated. Especially since you can chose to place the Next Turn field, among many others, on the 2610 in any of the 3 TAB positions, at either regular or wide format, which gives you the upcoming turn name - can you do this with the 27xx...

    Garmin 2610 vs. 2720 (and 2730)

Groo, I faced the same choice as you about a month ago, and went for the 2610 due to greater flexibility than the 2720, and significantly less money. Great information to be found at GPS Passion Forum here: https://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=86 There are also some...

    Fieldsheer Attack Jacket - Opinions/Sizing

Decided to take a chance on one of their Siberia jackets for the cold weather, and a perforated Attack jacket for Summer. Got a good deal on the combined buy from Sandhills Powersports, a vendor on Ebay that allows offers on their goods - all new. Will give impressions when they arrive.

    Goodbye FJR

Stef, That crushed FJR is a mighty sad sight to behold. VERY glad to hear your buddy is recuperating well. At least some good came out of this, a spare engine can't be a bad thing, eh?

    Just Ride --- the video

Stef, Sweet video - thanks for sharing! BTW - what software is that you are using for the mapping?

    Fieldsheer Attack Jacket - Opinions/Sizing

No Fieldsheer wearers? :( I've seen a number of these, supposedly new on Ebay, but was hoping for feedback before springing for one...

    Finally Picked Up FJR!!

Randy/All, Thanks! I'm down here in Fair Haven, just 5 min. south of Sandy Hook in Monmouth County. Only about an hour from you, Randy. We'll have to get together when the weather breaks a bit. Earlier tonight I heard rain changing to snow for Saturday night! :erm:

    Finally Picked Up FJR!!

Actually hit 50+ today in NYC. Course I had to work instead of ride the new toy. :( As far as the flannel sheets go, nothing's too good for my new baby! ;)

anti lane splitting comments on the radio

EX, Indeed, very well written. Makes me glad I live out here in NJ where lane splitting is almost unknown. Those DJ's should be fired, and would be damn lucky not to get sued. :asshat2:

    Fieldsheer Attack Jacket - Opinions/Sizing

Does anyone have any experience with these jackets? Likes/Dislikes? Do they tend to run Small/Large? Thanks in advance!

    Finally Picked Up FJR!!

Thanks all for the kind words. It IS cool to walk out to the garage and see the strange new thing under the flannel sheets. :P The seller had actually posted the bike here, might have been his first or second post. He's more active on the old site, I believe. He has 3 other bikes...

    Finally Picked Up FJR!!

I finally picked up my FJR yesterday, a very lightly used 2005 ABS model up near Boston. Only 2680 miles on the clock, with numerous Farkles, most of which I would have done myself as well! Have to admit to major paranoia during the truck ride back, imagining each bump and pothole sending the...

    Tech Mount Feedback Wanted

Thanks. I don't want to go the $$$ Tourtech route, so I'm going to try the $10 Garmin cradle they list as compatible with their standard top plate. I don't anticipate leaving the GPS on the bike long enough to ever be a temptation.

    Bike to Bike Radio

Bearly, I know the feeling! Somebody should have shot that b*st*ard Murphy before he graduated High School, and really started to screw things up! :assasin:
