Just Order a Givi E52 Gloss Black

I have one on an 05. I noticed that, in traffic, SUVs and large trucks close behind can''t see your brake light real well under the box. I wired LEDs into the box myself and feel much safer. I didn't care for the GIVI optional set up. The LEDs make a big difference.

    FREEKING GRAVEL!!!!

Shirt tore like cotton. Very disappointed in it. It was a very low speed fall and it tore through!

    Are Run-Flat Tires an option?

I took them off a car I had because of the weight/ride issues. I can't imagine putting them on a bike.

    FREEKING GRAVEL!!!!

Choose your Kevlar carefully. My Draggin shirt tore as easily as the cords I had on. Duh on the corduroys but the draggin shirt did nothing. I need to choose my pants more carefully after seeing this. I've gotten into a jeans habit. :o (with a leather jacket, etc.) Glad you folks are OK.

Probably a good weekend to avoid Tucson...

"Only minors are required by Arizona law to wear helmets. On a recent Tucson H.O.G. ride, no one except those under age 18 wore "skid lids." "I don't wear one unless I'm teaching," Kohnke said. "I believe I'm a little more aware of what's going on when I'm not wearing one." " Aware? :lol...

    Look what followed me home....

Awesome bike. I bought a 600RR about two years ago with a salvage title to get a feel for a sportbike.. I am 58, so I wasn't sure about the ergonomics of a real sportbike. It takes some getting used to and I now find the only problem I have with it is low back muscles which I am working on. I...

If you had to move to a ideal place

Don't come to Albuquerque. Bitter cold, rain, fog, snow. All the time. B) That's right. Nobody else move here. Thanks.

    Laptop and Motorcycle

I've gone cross country twice with an R1100R and a Toshiba laptop without a problem. I don't think the Toughbooks are worth the extra $. The Toshiba was in soft bags on the side both ways.

    Medical advice area?

Screw surgery. It doesn't always work(they pull the disc out with a needle noise pliers). At least the last I scrub in on. I'd try an inversion table first. There are actually some new therapies using a "rack" type system with good results. Surgery, of any kind should be a last resort, as it can...

07 Black Cherry and Givi E52

E52- I'd go with black. I've got it on my blue 05 and it's massive. Just don't use their light kit. Make your own.

What Else Can I Do To My FJR?

As soon as I read this in the initial posting..."Oh, yeah, I almost forgot to mention: I finally scraped a peg... dry.gif " I knew you were OK. Sucks about the bike though but like ribs heal bikes get repaired Good luck and feel better.
