Top 100 ugliest motorcycles in history

Yes, opinions are like @$$#ole$ and this clown proved it. He doesn't like super or hyper motards so all of them are pretty standard. He left off all the big-pig H-D hunks of crap that look like cartoons out of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? And he left out the INCREDIBLY ugly bikes from Confederate...

Hi, Everyone! Been away a long, long time.

I didn't really leave. I wasn't pissed off or anything. I just sorta got side-tracked and before you know it--a lot of time had gone by. I COULD say I was working on the Obama campaign, just to give a political flavor  for dcarver, But the truth is I wasn't even doing that...

Found neat new tool for garage

Mine has Brooklyn Lager, Sam and Murphys and Guinness, but no ButtWiper. Still, you are on the right track. I was sure someone would include a stacked honey as their PRIMARY garage tool (in their dreams)....

Why so many '05 FJRs on the market?

I'm really confused: I thought the 2003 was the Gen 1, the 2004 and 2005 Gen 2 and the 2006+ were Gen 3. After all there were changes to the body and brake disks, plus the ABS option was added in 2004. The turn signals were integrated, and the brake area increased. For 2006, we got the...

Hi, Everyone! Been away a long, long time.

Thanks everyone. I've missed this place, more than I realize. The FZ1OA hasn't felt like a home to me in a long time--I haven't posted there for a while and don't plan to. Times are rough all over. Luckily we are in better shape than other folks. I saw a woman selling her gold jewelry to...

    Lost one of our own

I hope his family finds comfort in knowing how many people liked and respected him and how many of us thank him for his service, given in good faith to protect us.

Hi, Everyone! Been away a long, long time.

Thanks everyone. I don't think I knew OrangevaleFJR, but I sure knew Twowheelnut. That's really terrible for them and their families. Yeah, if you have a job, be thankful and keep it. These days you never know when lightning's going to strike. I think I was fired as an object lesson to...

Hi, Everyone! Been away a long, long time.

It's been a long time since I've hung around here. I probably will get all kinds of people confused. It's been a bit of a rough road...lots of family issues..lots of work issues--I'm in the middle of one now. I'm now a statistic. I contributed to April's lower level of people losing their...

    I guess I'm getting old

Hey, Guys! Been a long time.... Yeah as I get older (53) I realize that Wisdom is when you show good judgment. Good judgment comes from experience. And...Experience comes from bad judgment... (that you survived) Went to a funeral today for a co-worker's husband who didn't get up Monday...

    Alotta miles in NJ

Here in Joisey one of the best things you can put on your bike is a PathBlazer--a headlight pulser. They are legal because they aren't flashing but dimming the headlight about 4x/second...The human eye can't NOT see it--it's wired into our brain. I can't tell you how many times I've been about...

Looking for a Black sheep skin cover for my 08 FJR1300

Is that Australian firm, SheepyHollow still in business? I have a seat cover from them for my 04. And you can get it in lighter colors than black, too.

    Any legal beagels out there?

I think the answer is in the posts above: Have her get a reasonable written estimate and pay it. Your payment and her acceptance of that payment should be considered by the courts as settling the matter. For example, if you owe money on any debt, and short of paying it off you give the...

    Ride your FJR to Work!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually rode my FJR in to work AND to a client meeting first thing! They have a consultant in from someplace. He says he has 6 Hardlys and his "baby", a FatBoy, with an aftermarket pipe and less restrictive airbox makes a whopping 165 hp. Says it was dyno'ed. Says it's supercharged (it's...

    Wilbers USA now HYPERPRO

Interesting. What's VERY interesting is that Wilbers has now basically decided it will not be selling its products to FJR owners anymore. Would ANYONE here buy a Wilbers product ever again? While I very much like my Wilbers shock, I don't need to put up with their ego. I find it AMAZING...

    Florida Speeding Ticket Rant

Ain't it amazing? You can drive at over 100mph, get a ticket, pay it, and drive away. But in NY or NJ, if you drive without insurance, even if you break no other law, they will revoke your licence COMPLETELY for one year.

    Sad News

I wish you nothing but the best of luck in your surgeries. If one surgery will extend your life, then you have many years to look forward to where you can enjoy motorcycles. I hope you grow so old and gray that all you can ride around on is a big slow Harley E-Glide!

And when you went down, you landed on a deserted island

"Thomas, The Tank Engine" I've got a 2year old in love with "Choo-Choo" and I can't get that damn tune out of my head! :dribble: :yahoo:

    Check out my new ride

Like the knee and elbow protection! But I'd hate to see you in my rearview with the party lights on! I always thought LEOs needed the open-face for better visibility. Joy-of-riding is not really a good reason for LEOs to use 3/4 hats rather than full coverage or flips. What's best for the...
