I've got a 530 EXCR & love it.....the only disparaging thing about owning it is the bikes relish at chewing up rear tires, otherwise it has been trouble free & totally reliable.

For me it's the old school stuff like the Ducati 900ss fe that should arrive soon (finally) to my stable.......one of the most fun bikes to ride where it's your skill sets that determines how quick bike the is.....not the horsepower....

If you like old school & have the money (plus mechanical skills don't hurt) Ducati.......that's one of the reasons I bought a 900ss....

Unless you like less weight, & non linked brakes with quicker handling, then go gen 2....lol
