Thats ok, if I needed a typist I can find one of those at work. I'm sure glad you guys are here. I would never get the kind of input out here in the sticks that I get here on the forum. Certainly speeds the learning experience.

No FJR. I think the HP numbers are suspect, but that was true of Gran Turismo as well.

+10 Dang it, there needs to be some standard here. And I will not use Wilbers oil now if it hairlips the pope. Still planing to use between 16 and 20 cSt @ 40c with high temp stability. Thanks Yamaholic, Maybe I will buy online. Not going to do the change over this week anyway. GRRRRRR...

Here Randy, if you are feeling in a '**** off' mood and want to appear more creative try this one out. Why don't you go outside and play hide and go **** your self. That should convey the proper emotive context and still appear semi creative. One of my personal favorites, anyway. :rolleyes:

Oh, and I have to add tranny fluid and some more brake cleaner to the shopping list. Rad, how do ya get the fluid out of the trannys up there? I only know one and he/she is pretty tough. I can take 'em but would rather be done with it quickly. Advice?

Rad, how does the Maxim 7w feel? Ok, that may not be the right question. What is your take on the suspension using that oil? IIRC that is the racing fork fluid (125/150), is that right? Looking at the chart on the Peter Verdone site that oil has the same cSt @ 40c as the Silkolene Pro RSF...

I suspect that the vest might save some lives. IF it inflates all the way around the rib cage it might have make a big difference for me. I think my crash was the exception rather than the rule though. There is no test data that I can see on the site or links to some. Over all I think mike...

dobias, help me out here. You say you are running the Silkolene Pro RSF 2 1/2w, I assume in the FJR. This is quite a bit lighter than the 7.5w Klaus reccomends but then the chart here refered to repeatedly demonstrates that there is so much variation between brands as to make the w numbers...

I've said it for years. Harley Davidson - A great tradition, not much of a motorcycle. Just one of many things that I don't understand.
