Actually if you are coming from Vancouver take the awesome Fraser Canyon route (Highway 1) to Kamloops and then go south on Highway 97 to Vernon before heading west.

+1 on USPS - I insist on all my orders from down south they ship USPS or I find another supplier. UPS and FEDEX brokerage will kill you everytime.

Finished moving my servo - have about 1/2" clearance from tire which seems to be more than adequate. Also changed my vaccuum canister to the NAPA fuel filter and mounted in between tool tray and gas tank - works great.

I bought mine (including 3" shaft) from Cyclegadgets $59.95 USD and they ship to Canada USPS so cheap shipping and no brokerage. I also ordered the 1.5" shaft from them - I think it was about another $12 or $13 USD.

Having seen what Ionbeam and others have done in terms of mounting their Audiovox CC servos on ABS bikes near the rear tire, I decided to relocate mine from under my seat. So far it has been a nightmare. First I decided that since I had the fuel tank off and unhooked my throttle connection...

I'm not sure I could be any more confused... :( When I look at the Yamaha diagram on the first page of this thread it looks like there are two drive/gear couplings on the rear - one is forward of the oil seal and the second is aft of the oil seal - there do not appear to be any part number...

... or the mocking tone could indicate a severe case of PE!!!

Uhhmm seems early days to be diagnosing any supposed problems - time will tell. As for buying first year models - someone has to or else there would never be any subsequent models!!! :D
