    HOW TO VIDEOS - Q&A

Very nice, thanks for taking the time to do the videos. Some may nitpick some points, but the videos are very well done and will be very helpful to owners that haven't done the work before. Good job Bryan.

    200ccccc Attempt-10/10ths

So Tony, is there anything special you do during the week prior to a ride like this to prepare yourself? I know you prep your bike, but how do you prep yourself physically and mentally? I know distance runners lighten up on their physical training, change their diet a bit and get more rest...

What did you do to your FJR today?

That seat looks fantastic on that bike! The best choice you could have made. Good job.

    Tacoma or Bust !

Wow! That might be the best post I've read on this forum. There's a lot of stuff packed in there. The writing style, or lack of style, is very clear and understandable. Good luck and enjoy the trip.

    Pinlock shield issue

I didn't think to try that, thanks Joe. Me too, haven't found anything that works better.

    Pinlock shield issue

I've noticed the pinlock shield on my Nolan N104 clear shield has been developing a gap at the bottom and I see fogging there. It seems the pinlock shield slides over time toward the bottom thereby creating the gap. I removed it and checked the silicone seal and it looked as good as new. So I...

    Laam seats

Dual. Finally got some miles on mine and am completely satisfied, exactly what I wanted. Best seat I've ever had on a bike. Makes me want to ride more.

    Laam seats

I just got a Laam dual seat and have only ridden with it about 100 miles. I've not done a long ride yet, hope to go about 800 miles tomorrow. I really felt the stock seat was fine, my only complaint was that it didn't distribute the weight over a large enough area, resulting in a bit too much...

First Long Trip - Spearfish to Lomira Wisconsin - Slabbin' it over

Have a save trip John. Look forward to your impressions (pun intended) on the stock seat.

    Drivetrain lack of lubrication

The FSM does instruct to apply LS to the forward splines on reassembly, you'd think the factory would have done it at initial assembly. I'm guilty of over lubing the forward spline, had some lube sling off making me suspect a problem with a seal. Fortunately I didn't tear into that. I'll check...

Yes, and I've polluted the OP's thread enough, on to the next one.

    Mapping

Hmmm, my nuvi 750 doesn't have that option. That would be nice though. My nuvi 750 no longer asks, it used to but now it just restarts the route from your current location, then it's like starting over and the data regarding how far you have to go is wrong. Yeah, I love this one. I can't tell...

    Italian MotoGP

Great, they've been pretty boring up 'til now, although the Moto3 races have been outstanding. YMMV I'll watch it this evening with a big bowl of popcorn.
