I don't know if a set of Gen 2 handlebars and top triple clamp will fit on a Gen 1 bike. I think that no one has done that...Please let us know about your project..

In the MV they did make it but i think it isn't available anymore for a Gen 1.You could try to find it only used..Hope you find one,works great..It has and a 10 degrees +/- angle adjustment. Have a look at this thread...

Tell to the machine shop to install new oem valves and valve guides and the newest valve guide seals and your head will be fine!

My Gen 1 does the same thing for many years.I mean does the same thing,vibrations ''while letting clutch out'' about at 1/3 out. I think that it caused from dry plates.When i did an oil clutch bath the problem dissapeared for some km,about 2-3000. Then the problem came back...

They are not the same.. A Gen 1 plate will not fit on a Gen 2 / 3 bike and vice versa. 01-05 are the same. 06-16 are the same..
