I got to see a ’06 for the first time yesterday heading home from work yesterday at 1430 and just wanted to post what a beautiful color it has. It seems to be a darker blue than my ’05 and looked really nice in the San Diego sun. Gratz to all you new owners, pretty good looking bike.

I have two of those micro fiber rags that I carry with me when riding and they work great for getting the bugs off and dirt off. Just wet them with water and ring them out and you're good to go. I'm 5'7" and 204 atm and my wife is 5’2”, between 130 and 140, and loves to ride on the FJR. She says the bike is comfortable but she has back problems and can’t do really long rides because of it. I have the Yamaha top case with the backrest pad.
