Find some used bikes for sale and go check them out. I started looking at used myself but ended up buying new. The dealer had a '05 FJR and the Honda ST sitting side by side and I was able to go back and forth between them. It was a close call, but the FJR just felt better to me.

I was thinking the same thing. Priceless.

I use a CycleFiber cloth to wipe it down after short rides and then I use Plexus and S100 when I give it a full wash. The blower trick is sheer genius, I'm gonna do that next time I do a full wash. The CycleFiber is pretty cool, you just wet it water and ring it out, then wipe off your bike.

I'd second on the Southbay shop. I grew up in Chula Vista and that place has been there as long as I can remember. That shop is also one of the only two yamaha 5 star certified shops in San Deigo county.

Damn that looks great. Do you think you can watch your engine temp and post if it seems to run hotter at all? Someone at work mentioned some of those guards might partially block airflow and cause higher temps, he rides a bmw so it might be a bmw issue.
