    Return home after EOM

May God bless him, his family and most especially those kids. My prayers are with him and his family. On a different note, may the 80 year old lady be tormented for all time for her carelessness.

Hate to see this happen to anybody, but I am glad all are ok. Even better that you can continue your trip, even if it is by car. Best of luck to both of you.

07 Excitement: Is it just me or...

Can only assume folks are out riding their new 06's and not posting. Seriously, 06 comprised a lot of changes for the FJR and that sparked most all the conversations. I doubt the 07's will have much different about them than the 06's and that is probably why people are not wearing their...

Dr. said stay off the FJR (&%$#

Possibly, but if you let your SSO know what is going on and why, the most they will do is suspend your clearence until you are "cleared" by the doc. So long as you are upfront and honest about your situation most SSO's will work with you.

    Handguns

You are correct. My word selection was off. As for practicing, you are dead on. Practice, practice, practice. One thing I do that a lot of folks do not, I use the ammo I carry when carring concealed when I practice. I want to ensure everything it is the same from practice to the real thing...

    Handguns

A .45 will not over penetrate. The round is moving at about 900 and some feet per second, which is a slow moving round. 9mm and .357 will over penetrate due to their velocity.

    Multiple Bike Syndrome

Well, add a few hundred more for tax's and registration in FL. But yes, I paid just shy of 12k out the door from D&H. B)

    Multiple Bike Syndrome

I had a BMW R1150RT. I bought it in Germany while stationed there so it cost me $13,249 back in 03. It was an 04 model. I loved that bike and it never let me down in over 14K miles. I began to find that the bike just did not have enough power for me. So, in 05 BMW came out with the R1200RT...

    Cobin on an 06

Just ordered my Corbin from the Daytona store yesterday. :clapping: I ordered it yesterday morning. I am getting the front, back and backrest with stiching just like the website. However, I did include a PIC of exactly what I want. I got an email confirmation from the guy saying that it...

    Garmin Zumo

2.8" w / 2.1 h That is a way small viewing area. Not for me. Don't want to take my eyes off the road for very long to view the GPS. Being that it is so small it might be a problem.

Nissan 300ZX-T vs street bike vs. 500cc GP Bike

Never seen that before. That was way cool.....

Dr. said stay off the FJR (&%$#

This type of acciedent thus causing trauma needing counceling would not effect a security clearence. A buddy of mine lost his wife and kids in a car crash and he was the one driving. He had to see a counseler for about a year and a half and he to this day still has a clearance. Not sure about...

    Handguns

Honestly, I can think of no other gun that has great stopping power and can be easily used by a woman than the Glock Model 27. It is a .40cal pistol. I let my wife try my Glock Model 30 which is a .45 but she could not easily hold it (grip to wide) and she had problems pulling the slide. So...

    Factory heated grips < $100

Wow, that looks great. I have put off getting heated grips cause Yamaha wants way to much money for them and the wrap kind I am not interested in. Thank you so much for posting this. I will now be getting heated grips and enjoy riding in the cold again.

Re: camera56 bike and my slider's

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am keeping my SKYWAY sliders just the way they are. They look great and I have no doubt that they will protect my bike in a tip over, which is what they are for. :clapping: Thanks Skyway for a great product and take care of yours. ;)

Any Autobahn left in the US of A?

I thought that Montana had no speed limit on the highways during the day, but at night it droped to like 70 or 80.

    Poor, poor, FJR..............

How in this world does this bike have a "rebuildable salvage title". Who the hell is going to "rebuild" that thing? What a mess. Sure hope the rider came out ok.
