    sounds like Sparky's got a stand-up dealership. That'll be a big relief. :)

    Trashed Paint on New '06???

I'm going with the "gopher" theory here. :dribble: It use to be that bikes had to be uncratered (sometimes that was a major hassle) and you never knew when you'd find cracked fairings or bent billet, and then assembled ($$). But my understanding (not 100% sure on this ) is that these...

    Source for windshield hardware

Hmmm It's a nice concern. But I bet those aluminum screws would sheer almost as easily as the plastic ones if someone was going through the shield. Then again, it would be nice to just bounce off of the shield and back into your seat...

    Source for windshield hardware

When I got my blue tint CeeBailey a little over a year ago, I went out and bought a set of the little aluminum screws that come in diff colors, so I got blue ones for about $8. Had more than I needed, but they were cheap enough. I prefer the allen head + the metal construction. Vinnie

    tank bra

Is anyone using a tank bra? I'm talking about the type that covers the whole rear part of the tank (closest to the rider). I'd like to know: 1. does it help with the heat problem on the inner thigh? and, if so, 2. where did you get one to fit the FJR? I recently went on a two-up ride and...

Images of a flamed white FJR

A question for those in the know:  wow! I wonder where the Japanese are getting those FJR's from? I thought the only thing that Yamama sold over there was the XJR1300 (for something like over a million yen!) which is a naked version of our cutie... Could they be importing those...

Would You Pay $13,500 For An 06A?

My 2 cents: :) I would probably pay it if it was the OTD price The dealer where I bought my '05 will sell an '06 for 12.3 + $550 for dealer prep. Once you add the TT&T you're looking at 13.5, so it sounds like a good deal. 'sides, it's an FJR!

Well that was farking stupid of me

What an interesting concept: You have to worry about your wife when she's on the bike. I know most wives worry when we're off riding. I know whenever I ride to work, I can expect a call soon after I get there from the wife. Just saying hi! <_< So having the shoe on the other foot is...

    Dropped bike in parking lot!

what's the old saw?: "those who've dropped them and those who's gonna..." I always thought the first few steps in the procedure after you've dropped it was to cringe while muttering different incantations (oh s**t!, Jeezes K. Rist!, holy f**k!, gahddamn it, etc) and shedding a tear. Take a...

    A few minor complaints

Whoa Fred, is that all?! You really date yourself with that Uri Geller comment. Another Boomer! I remember getting flamed mercilessly when I got my '05 and dared to say that it needed a better windshield (CeeBailey fixed that) and comlained that my hands would never be able to take the hard...

    New gauges -new '05

Finally got the clocks replaced. My gauges would not sweep on ocassion. Were checked by the techs for loose connections a couple of times. They usually worked after the bike heated up and got running. Sometimes they would just come on in the middle of a ride, sometimes after turning bike...

    Norton gone again

GAPs proves again the old cliche about where beauty lies... Nostalgia is sweet, but this is a modern bike with just a hint of nostalgia. At 20 grand, I'll take the HRC (Honda Research & Co) engine in that nice tubular frame... :P

    Davie, FL, Broward Motorsports

Sales: I have bought two bikes from these folks. My '05 FJR was on the showroom floor when I found it. The sales manager sold it to me for MSRP + (12, 680OTD), but he gave me so much money in trade in for my 2 year old Trophy 1200 (with 28K miles on it) that the bike wound up costing me...

    Norton gone again

Maybe Kenny can take some consolation from the folks who have been trying to resurrect the Vincent for several years and getting nowhere, so far. Barney Li has a lot of money, too -or had, and I'm still waiting... :(

    Powerlet install, how easy

...has the kit and needs the drill. Taking the fairing off was a bit of a pain for me. did the rearset kit that requires lifting the tank. Took me and a friend about an hour to figure it all out and git'er done. (We were smart enough to save the brewskies for after we were finished.) for...
