Is there a general listing of the various service codes, and in particular, the code 16? Battery ran down over the winter and when I tried to start her up after a charge, I got a backfire and then this lovely code. She so far refuses to fire up. Scootter

Hopefully get to the spring ride this year........ didn't make either ride last year. :( Later April will be alittle better for weather and road debris no doubt. Scooter

Yikes, first gear? That might explain the jerkiness. I usually am puttin' around in second with the occasional hit to third. Don't know about the driveline lash...... very little in mine. Well I hope you had fun anyway....... Cherohala is more my speed for that bike.

They are the black aluminum ones with polished end caps you mainly see in the pics floating around. I do have pics but I'll have to figure out how to get them on the site. The pics are off the bike because I removed the pipes about a month ago. ...... know what you mean about the money thing...

Just got my MCN magazine last night with the comparo of the FJR1300AE and the New GT. FJR by the slimmest of margins which they said would have been greater if they used the clutch model. Scooter

Saw a bagged '05 with a mixed pack of bikes (one looke like a Valk) on Saturday down near the Loveland/Montgomery area of Cincy. Any of you guys? Ended up getting a nice ride in out on the east side of Cincy and ending up down by the river in New Richmond. Also got a great ride in last week...

Most any shop should be able to order them for you. HJC's smoke shield is not very dark and I often wore sunglasses underneath to help me out. I am pretty light sensative though...... I currently have the blue mirrored shield on my AC-11 and it's help quite a bit. Smoked shields are about 20...
