Called the Brier Inn and made my reservations. The base rate for two queens is $69, but there is a $5 charge if you have a second person in the room. Still a bit cheaper than the OCI. I told them that there will be other people calling. You can mention my name so they can group our rooms...

Bob, The more I think about this 2 night minimum, the more it pisses me off. I wasn't planning on staying two nights either. My funds are somewhat limited too. I don't think I will confirm my room today. Didn't really plan on camping. If I can't find a good alternative, I will not be able to go.

George, Yeah, I just talked to the lady there and she told me that there is a two night minimum. Either Friday/Saturday, or Saturday/Sunday. I booked Saturday/Sunday night and leaving on Monday. Is that cool with you? If so, we can definitely share the room.

I always liked the XJR and wanted one since the day they came out. Unfortunately, can't get them here in the states.

Deer accidents, that's one thing I didn't miss while riding in Germany. Here in the rural areas of VA it's pretty bad, but not as bad as in the area posted above. 400K+ in damage just on one road, geez!
