Have you checked the harness connector under the tank? Seem t o rember s ome folks having similar troubles when this gets corroded.

Arrived here @5 The Dacks riders are still out. Relaxing in the lobby enjoying a cold one! Rt 97 & rt 30 were deserted! I felt like the only one on the road. Went thru the heavy rains & floods for the final hour but overall a good ride. Cant wait for tomorrow

Been using Turtle wax ice on my cars & the FJR too with excellent results. I'm no longer buying the Honda spray polish.

If its a really light film of rust it shouldnt cause you any trouble.I bought a Nighthawk "S" new in 1984 & like an ***** stored it the first winter with the tank empty. The inside rusted slightly.I just sold it three years ago to buy my FJR & it still ran great with zero carb issues. If you...

Just got back from the Adacks ride. About 1100 miles round trip. First real test of the refreshment system. Worked like a charm,not a single complaint. Thanks Gary for another great product. Paul

Same MPG figures here.Just went on the Adaks ride & hit 50 mpg on several fillups! Ran all backroads to & from. Best MPG I have seen! A good excuse to stay off the interstates.
