How old are you FJR riders?

Just turned 87. My wife rides with me all the time. I'm retired so I get alot of seat time. She still works so when she get's off the day shift at HOOTERS ( she is 22) I pick her up for evening rides about 5 nights a week in the summer. Then we go home and, oh nevermind. :dribble:

    Should I buy an '08 or '09?

Howdy folks I'm back. Picked up an 09 last thursday in Florence, Co. Rode the required 600 miles and went back to the dealer Saturday for oil change. So, I vote for the 09 because it's the fastest, best looking, stealth mode som ***** out there.

    So what with these choppers?

Only two choppers blocking two lanes of roadway? Any F J R rider worth his or her salt should be able to shoot the gap on those two bikes and go on your merry way. That's what all that power is for. Now go out and practice that **** till you get it right.

    Belt drive

Yes pretty sure H D is responsable for belt deives going mainstream. Width of the belt is a concern when running big tires (Clearence) Lots of power means fat tire,= not alot of room for a belt.
