That stretch from Marion to Tazewell on Rt. 16 is truly exceptional. If I'm anywhere near the place, and I am a lot, I make a point of getting that ride in the day's itinerary. It ranks easily in my top ten rides.

Hey Inlaw1... I don't know how much time you've spent at the Dragon, but I suspect it hasn't been a lot. In my experience, probably somewhere in excess of 80% of the bikers there are riding dangerously.....going too fast for the road, or making stupid passes, etc., etc. Even some otherwise...

I don't much like the looks of any of those quard pieces. If you do get something on the pipes, the very best stuff I've seen to remove it is oven cleaner. Works like a charm with practically no effort required.
