There's more than a few here that would disagree with you. Might even say the FJR handles dirt better than expected for a such a bike. But I guess I should qualify that by asking what your definition of "dirt" is. Unpaved but maintained roads shouldn't be an issue save for some uncomfortable...

I feel like I've read about 50-50 comments favoring one over the other. One better on the interstates and the other better in the fun stuff with less shifting. Neither of those seem to be dramatic differences though. It does seem however that folks report liking the upgraded lighting from '16...

When I researched adding lights to my V47 came across several complaints about the Givi connections. As the saying goes, it looked good on paper but . . . . Went with the Admore kit and have been satisfied. Yes I have to unscrew the connection but as someone who only uses the top box...

Just my opinion but FWIW, I'd save that V Stream and look for a used stock shield to experiment on with the cutting. The VS might bring you some bucks if you look to sell it or you might find yourself looking to use it later on. No sense cutting that up.

That box caught my eye too, very nice looking on the bike. Being you brought it up, is their mounting plate installed on top of the FJR's stock rack? Just asking and you might have come across this in your research but one weakness the FJR sorta has is in the way the tail section is designed...

Yup, they were. One of the things that's sorta hard to grasp is the speed at which flight developed. After figuring it out as a younger man Orville was still alive to witness the thousands of planes flying throughout WW II.
